Oh What A Night!

Registration night was a huge success. Pack 39 would like to welcome 32 new boys to the Pack and that number is going to grow.  Tuesday night we will start our regular Den Meetings, so don't be late.  We start at 7:00pm sharp!

A special thank you to George and Dana Crummie for volunteering to help out with the Wolf Dens; with 21 boys this year - this will be the biggest group yet.  We still need help with the Wolf Dens and the Bear Den.  If you would like to help - please let the Cubmaster know.

Huge Haunted Weekend Planned

This year the Fall Overnight will be held on October 11 and 12 at the Burcham Farm.  We are planning a Haunted Weekend.  This event will include scouts from Cub Scout Pack 39, Boy Scout Troop 39 and the young ladies of Girl Scout Troop 105.  Activities will include fishing, BB shooting, archery, games, a nature hike, cooking lessons, fire building challenge, a compass course, a very special campfire ceremony conducted by Troop 39, a flag retirement ceremony and an advancement ceremony.  WEBELOS - this will be a great time to fullfill ALL the requirements for camping and cooking!  DON'T MISS IT!

We are planning a special shirt and patch to go with this event.  Make sure to get all the details at our first Den Meeting on Tuesday - September 2.

Pack 39 to Raise Flag at Home Games

Again this year, Pack 39 has been asked to raise the flag at all the home football games for the RHS Tigers.  I hope everyone will try to make it for this.  This is a great way to work on those OUTDOOR FLAG CEREMONY requirements.  For all regular home games we will meet at 6:45 at the flag pole on the field.  For the Jamoboree we will meet at 5:45 at the flag pole.  Remember to wear your uniform or Pack 39 t-shirt.
